There are the small projects (fixing a leaking sink, replacing a toilet) then there are the big projects (remodeling a kitchen and a bathroom).  We have in the past 9 years tried them all and boy what a ride it has been. We did the research for those big projects and we suggest everyone do the same.  Check prices, create idea boards, bring home samples & always try to return everything you do not need or use, don’t waste those pennies!

Boy was this dreary. I couldn’t wait to rip this apart and get rid of the useless L island. Across from the L was a wall with the refrigerator on it, the door would black the walkway.. Wrong layout!

 

We removed the wall! What a difference this made in daily living. Light and Bright is the way to go on any kitchen remodel; in my opinion.
