I love to read, I enjoy crime stories and mysteries, but I didn’t feel like I was reading enough of anything anymore. I could blame it on lack of time, but I think it is more of the “If I sit and read, I am not getting something else done” issue that I have been having.  Society makes us feel like we always need to be on the go. Time to make an effort to change that & slow down the pace of life, it goes by too fast.

I read a lot of magazines about home improvements & my downfall is; I really hate to throw them away!  I have an iPad and I can download magazines to it, some of my favorites I am trying out this way: This Old House, Cottage, Real Gardens.  I tend to forget I downloaded them though, and I don’t pick up that device often. I call that device my time suck, LOL  because all I do is Pinterest on it. What do I look at – you guessed it, home improvement ideas.

Anyway, I am hoping by starting my own website and blog, that I will use all devices to keep myself on track. Check back soon because I will be posting some of my favorite reads here!
